Montessori Method Learning

Bridges Childcare has adapted the use of the Montessori Method of learning. Montessori learning was founded in 1906 by Maria Montessori. Originally adapted for underprivileged kids who many were deemed unable to learn (The American Montessori Society, 2025).  Montessori came in and changed the way children were taught in a way that was more beneficial and directed towards the individual child's needs and ways of learning. Montessori has come in and changed the world assisting children in showing stronger performance in language and math, deeper critical thinking skills, higher child independence, and positive school experiences (Sills, 2023). 

Seeing the Growth

Families will be invited into the classroom for a conference twice a year to discuss your child's developmental growth. Families will be contacted weekly with updates and pictures taken throughout the week of your student. Here at Bridges Childcare, we want you to know that you are a part of your child's learning and we want you involved every step of the way. 

Volunteer Opportunities
